An independent, non-profit and non-governmental organization. It works on providing advisory services as well as research studies for the Syrian and non-Syrian groups that are interested in the Syrian situation, or involved in the decision making thereof.

The center includes a local network of reporters and a team of researchers and academics inside and outside of Syria. Its activities aim to capture the realities and variables, and highlight the complete scene of events by collecting and analyzing data and information and producing reports and studies that serve the interested bodies in formulating their executive strategies and help in the building and development process.

The center is keen on providing constructive knowledge that helps to transform the society towards achieving the values of justice and human dignity; the center sees that the way to reach constructive knowledge is through the integration of the plans and programs of the center in terms of statistics and research.

How do we work

How do we work

The center sets for itself a work strategy aiming to build a bank of knowledge. This strategy is based on the integration of three overlapping stages that guarantee to turn the information from its simple form as it happens in the scene of events into a more comprehensive, deeper and clearer image. These three stages are documentation, classification and analysis. Each one of the three stages includes a set of specialized processes and activities that are managed independently by a department for supervision and follow-up as follows:

An independent research center concerned with the Syrian issue and provides brief research studies based on field statistical surveys. It includes a network of local correspondents and includes independent researchers and academics inside and outside Syria. Its activity aims to monitor facts and variables and clarify the full scene of events and course of events for policy makers and decision makers locally, by collecting detailed data in a geographical area extending to the entire official Syrian borders according to international conventions, and related to time since the beginning of the events of the revolution in March 2011, and Transforming data into research results that support development and construction programs.
